Affordable Healthcare or Obamacare’s Slush Fund?

An overlooked part of President Obama’s signature health care bill (PPACA) has spent 12.5 billion in what critics are calling a “slush fund”.  This should alert them as with 2700 hundred pages, which no one who voted for read, how many other questionable practices are in it assuming the critics are correct?  The program has come under fire because it is run by Health and Human Services (HHS), with little or no oversight  In an article in Forbes magazine, Stuart Taylor does a good job of reporting actual facts in which there over 100 examples in which congressional investigator detail the spending they call “illegal lobbying”.  Stuart also lists three different cases which detail how the money was spent.  If the facts are correct, it would lead me to believe that they are not only breaking the anti-lobbying law, but are morally corrupt and bankrupt. Even Democratic Senator Tom Harkin, self-described author of the Prevention and Public Health title of the Affordable Care Act, is calling the President’s raid on the Prevention Fund illegal.  To read the full article;  http://www.forbes.com/sites/realspin/2013/05/30/obamacares-slush-fund-fuels-a-broader-lobbying-controversy/
